Creating comics from scratch - The very beginning
I've been wanting to start making a comic for a while now. I think what suits me best is doing it in a serial format, so I can take it one chapter at a time, one chapter (or part of one) at a time.
So I thought maybe more than one person might find it interesting to see the process from the conception of the idea to the final result. This way, I can also clarify and review my own process and make it more efficient.
Although I've worked professionally as a comic artist and, separately, as a writer, the closest thing I've done to something that is completely my own creation are short comic strips about my life and that of my dog, Oliver, and an attempt at creating something with Perlita, a happy skeleton (still available in Tapas). With them I allowed myself to experiment with techniques, formats and styles.

The difference is that now I want to create a proper comic! So, here we go!
